The reason you probably got here is because I (or Kathy) gave you the URL of this website.
I put my picture on this page so you can verify that you got to the right place.
If you don't recognize me then you're probably in the wrong place but I'd be interested in how you got here.
You may want to read on anyway. By the way, I look very happy in this picture because I just got some
cactus ice cream for my family.
I had no idea what my stocks were doing at that moment.
Anyway, the purpose of this website is to post the results of my stock portfolio simulations.
These results are generated each market day (overnight) by a UNIX machine in my basement and automatically uploaded to this
site. Initially I did this strictly so I could look at the results when I'm not at home.
Over time some people expressed interest so I put these pages together to explain what I'm doing.
Anyone is welcome to browse this site. If you start doing this on a regular basis then please drop me a note.
I suggest that you browse this site by looking at the pages in this order:
- Investment
strategy – here I explain the basis of
the simulations
- Performance –
here I post simulation results that are
updated each night and I explain how to
interpret them
-
Limitations and Assumptions – here I
point out some of the limitations and
assumptions of the simulations
- FAQ - here I try
to answer some of the frequently asked
questions
- Disclaimers
– here I stress that I’m not giving any
investment advice
Please don’t hesitate to ask me questions about the contents of this website and let me know how I can improve it. If others are interested, you’re welcome to refer them to this site.
Please keep in mind that the information and the simulation results referenced has not been independently verified. Please remember to read the disclaimers.
